InfraBuild Tasmania Golf Day Charity
Infrabuild Launceston held our annual golf day in May. Every year the event also combines an opportunity to raise funds for a nominated charity as part of our Community Connections. This year the Infrabuild staff overwhelmingly chose the W.P. Holman Clinic. The clinic provides comprehensive specialist inpatient and outpatient Medical Oncology and Clinical Haematology Services to the Northern Tasmanian Community. This also includes a state-wide Brachytherapy Service.
The W.P. Holman Clinic also plays an active role in Cancer Education and research within Tasmania and is a vital service for the whole of community.
For the many Tasmanians and their families who have needed this service, the Holman Clinic has provided, and continues to provide the most wonderful service and care available. Speaking with Ms Bronwyn Allen (Executive Assistant), Mrs Natalie Kidd (Manager/Chief Radiation Therapist) and Mr Grant Smith (Chair Northern W.P Holman Trust) there was an instant appreciation of their dedication and care, along with all the staff’s dedication to the care of patients as soon as they walk through the door. Every person is treated with a level of compassion and service probably not witnessed in many organisations.
We hope the $1850.00 raised will be utilised to help support the many needs of the clinic in the daily care of their patients. We are extremely proud to be able to donate in some small way which could have a positive impact for this wonderful service.
